Analysis Group, Inc. (AG) founded in 1981[1], is the largest privately held economic consulting firm in the United States. The firm provides economic, financial and strategic analysis and expert testimony to law firms, corporations, and government agencies.[2][3]

Analysis Group employs more than 500 professionals, most of whom have advanced degrees in economics, law, finance, accounting, or business.[4] It has been named as a best place to work by both Vault.com [5] and The Boston Globe [6] In August 2011, Vault.com’s 2012 Vault Consulting 50 survey ranked Analysis Group the ninth-best consulting firm to work for, based on both prestige and quality of life. The firm was ranked fourth the previous year. In November 2011, Analysis Group was ranked 12th in the Globe's annual list of the "Top Places to Work in Massachusetts" among companies with 250 employees or fewer. The firm has appeared in the survey four years in a row and was in the top ten in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, Boston Business Journal named Analysis Group the ninth-largest woman-led business in Massachusetts, based on 2009 revenues.[7] In 2007, Analysis Group was named the seventh-largest woman-led business in Massachusetts by Babson College's Center for Women's Leadership, with then revenues of $150 million.[8]

Major competitors include Charles River Associates, Cornerstone Research, Compass Lexecon, and NERA Economic Consulting.

The President and CEO of Analysis Group is Martha S. Samuelson.

She participated in a 2011 executive roundtable discussion on finding and retaining talented people, published as part of the Boston Globe "Top Places to Work" feature.[9] She discussed how the organization fosters leadership, accountability, and mentoring relationships in a 2010 interview with The New York Times.[10]
